SAVING

SAVE writes to the FM1's flash, which this browser keeps: your patches, performances, sequences, arps and GLOBAL settings are still there next time. FACTORY RESET forgets them. It is the firmware, not a recording: what you hear is Carnac running, at the FM1's 44.1 kHz, on one core. The idea of running FM1 firmware in the browser, and this page's shape, come from X0X's emulator, after Groove OS's.
